Imma i strålkastarna är det vanligt?

Jag har fått kondens typ vid tvätt av bilen.. Men det har försvunnit ganska omgående.
Har aldrig upplevt imma i dem. Vad är det för årsmodell det gäller?

Det finns en servicebulletin "Technical Service Bulletin" som gäller alla Kia-modeller nr 55 mars 2010.

This bulletin provides information relating to some Kia models that may experience fogging or condensation inside of the headlamp assembly. Generally, this condition is considered normal and can be eliminated by turning on the headlamps with the engine running for several minutes or during normal driving conditions. In most cases, this will clear the headlamp fogging condition. Headlamp assembly replacement WILL NOT be necessary in most cases.

Headlamp fogging is a normal occurrence and headlamp assembly replacement WILL NOT be necessary to resolve this issue.

There are two main causes for headlamp fogging: Normal condensation, or a water leak.

1. Normal Moisture / Condensation With a drop in air temperature, condensation droplets may form on the inside of the cool headlamp lens. This condition is NORMAL and can usually be eliminated by turning on the headlamps with the engine running for several minutes. Repair or replacement is not required.

2. Water Leak If water pools at the bottom of the headlamp assembly or if fogging remains after the headlamps have been left on for more than 30 minutes with the engine running, this condition may be caused by a water leak. The condition should be diagnosed, and repaired as needed. Such a condition may result from a poor seal between the housing and lens or socket, from cracks in the headlamp assembly, or from a poor fit.

Replacement of head lamp assembly for actual water leak requires DPSM approval and requires condition to be documented with photos attached to a TechLine case.

A high pressure washer may also cause water to be forced into the headlamp assembly.
